The Rage Jiu-Jitsu competition team returned to the Copa Nova Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament in Ashburn, Va on January 9th.
- Michelle Welti placed first in the Women’s White Belt Heavyweight division, second in the Women’s White Belt Absolute, and second in her Women’s Advanced No-Gi division.
- Larry Gillet looked impressive winnning the title in the Men’s Masters Blue Belt Lightweight Divsion and placing second in the Men’s Masters Advanced No-gi Lightweight division.
- Christian Gillet, despite some time off from training, fought well and placed second in the Teen’s Advanced no-gi under 115lb division.
- Walter Kimmel, competing in his first tournament, placed first in the Men’s Masters Blue Belt Heavyweight division and second in the Men’s Blue Belt Heavyweight division.
- Big Josh Wehrmann, Rage Fight & Fitness Head personal trainer/Strength & Conditioning Coach, competed in his first tournament, placing second in the Men’s White Belt Super Heavyweight Divsion.

This Saturday, March 25th, 
Jiu-Jitsu students be sure to set your alarm clocks. Rage Fight and Fitness will be moving our morning BJJ class to 6:00am as several students have mentioned that an extra 1/2 hour would make it easier for them to get to work on time. Classes now run from 6:00am to 7:00am on Tuesday and Thursday and are taught by BJJ Blackbelt Dave Trader. So far we have had a great turnout and the training has been excellent. We expect these classes will continue to grow. So, if you can make it, come in and start your day off with a great workout.
